Xiaomi has expanded its budget gaming hardware lineup in China with the launch of the Redmi G25 2027 gaming monitor. Tailored for competitive gamers, this new display brings high-refresh-rate performance alongside gaming-oriented visual enhancements.
Design and Ergonomics
The Redmi G25 2027 features a clean design with three-sided narrow bezels, making it suitable for modern gaming setups. It includes a tilt-adjustable stand that swivels between -5 degrees to +15 degrees. Users looking to mount the display on a wall or monitor arm can utilize the built-in 75 × 75mm VESA mounting standard. Navigating the on-screen display (OSD) settings is handled via a joystick mounted on the rear panel.
Display Specs and Visual Performance
At the front, the monitor sports a 24.5-inch Fast IPS screen with a Full HD resolution of 1,920 × 1,080 pixels. Its standout capability is the rapid 300Hz refresh rate paired with a 1ms gray-to-gray (GTG) response time, minimizing motion blur in fast-paced competitive titles. The panel delivers up to 400 nits of typical brightness, a 1,000:1 contrast ratio, and VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification. Color coverage is rated at 100% sRGB and 93% DCI-P3. Furthermore, hardware-level low blue light technology certified by TÜV Rheinland helps protect users' eyes during long gaming sessions without compromising color integrity.
Gaming Features and Connectivity
To eliminate screen tearing and stutter, the monitor supports AMD FreeSync Premium alongside Dynamic Overdrive technology, which dynamically tunes pixel response speeds relative to frame rates. Dedicated in-game features include a night vision mode, dark enhancement for clearer visibility in dark game environments, and a customizable crosshair overlay with dynamic color tuning.
For connectivity, Xiaomi has equipped the monitor with two DisplayPort 1.4 ports, two HDMI 2.0 ports, and a 3.5mm audio output jack. Note that achieving the peak 300Hz refresh rate requires a DisplayPort 1.4 connection, while the HDMI 2.0 ports top out at 240Hz at 1080p resolution.
Price and Expected Availability in Nepal
In China, the Xiaomi Redmi G25 2027 is priced at CNY 799 (around USD 120). While Xiaomi has not officially announced global release plans or an official launch date for Nepal, if it enters the Nepali market, the monitor is expected to cost around NPR 18,199.
