Xiaomi has officially expanded its foldable lineup in China with the launch of the Xiaomi 18 Fold. The smartphone introduces a refreshed form factor with a wider, passport-style design, aiming directly at competing flagship foldables. It brings impressive internal hardware, including Xiaomi's proprietary 3nm chipset, Leica-engineered optics, and dual high-brightness displays.
Sleek Design and Bright LTPO Displays
The Xiaomi 18 Fold weighs 219 grams and measures a slim 5.02mm when unfolded, even with its sizable battery. It comes in Nishino Red, Warm Gold-White, and Black shades, along with a Ceramic Special Edition. On the outside, there is a 5.38-inch OLED cover display featuring a 1712 x 1168 resolution, protected by Xiaomi Longjing Glass 3.0. Unfolding the device reveals a flexible 7.58-inch OLED main screen with a 2364 x 1672 resolution. Both panels support a 1–120Hz adaptive refresh rate and reach up to 4,000 nits of peak brightness.

The handset offers configurations with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. The top-tier 16GB variant utilizes LPDDR6 memory, whereas other versions come with LPDDR5X RAM. It operates on HyperOS 4 built over Android 17, providing revamped visuals, custom lock screens, stacked widgets, and specialized AI features customized for the foldable screen layout.

The 12GB/512GB model costs CNY 11,999, the 16GB/512GB version is priced at CNY 12,999, while the top-tier configuration reaches CNY 14,999. If launched in Nepal, tech enthusiasts can expect a premium price tag reflecting these flagship China figures.
