Honor has officially expanded its wearable lineup in the Nepali market with the launch of the Honor Watch 6. This new smartwatch brings substantial upgrades over the previous Watch 5, boasting a brighter display, improved battery endurance, dual-band satellite positioning, and durable build quality.
Design and Display
Drawing inspiration from vintage racing cars, the Honor Watch 6 features a sporty circular dial equipped with a rotating crown and a side button for easier navigation. Built using recyclable aluminum alloy, the body undergoes a specialized sandblasting treatment to achieve a premium titanium-like texture. It carries an IP69 rating against dust and water ingress. In terms of weight, the Shadow Black version weighs roughly 41 grams, while the Twilight Brown edition comes in at 50 grams.
On the front, the smartwatch sports a 1.46-inch AMOLED display with an impressive peak brightness of 3000 nits, making it easily readable under direct sunlight. Furthermore, Honor has added Wet Touch technology, enabling full display responsiveness even when your fingers are sweaty or wet.
Battery Life and Positioning
One of the biggest enhancements in the Watch 6 is its 980mAh battery, which is a major jump from the 480mAh cell found on the Watch 5. Honor claims the smartwatch can last up to 17 days under typical usage scenarios and up to 35 days with light usage. For hikers and outdoor enthusiasts, the watch can deliver up to 42 hours of non-stop GPS tracking. Location tracking is powered by dual-band L1+L5 GPS, offering quicker satellite lock and enhanced accuracy during cycling, running, or trekking.
Health and Fitness Features
The device packs more than 120 sports modes, including custom modes for Football and Badminton. Football mode records metrics such as distance, sprint speed, and heat maps, while Badminton mode tracks swing speed and shot power. There is also an integrated AI Running coach to assist runners through their workouts.
For health tracking, the watch monitors heart rate, blood oxygen (SpO2), stress levels, and sleep patterns. It also includes a blood pressure trend-monitoring report and a Quick Health Scan feature to assess multiple health indicators with a single tap.
Smart Functionality and Nepal Price
Smart features on the watch include Bluetooth calling support, NFC payments, wrist gesture controls, voice notes, notifications, and customizable video watch faces. Note that certain features perform best when paired with an Honor phone running the latest MagicOS software.
The Honor Watch 6 is now available in Nepal, with the Shadow Black variant officially priced at NPR 33,999.
