Following its initial reveal alongside the iPhone 17 lineup, AirPods Pro 3, Watch Series 11, and Watch Ultra 3, the Apple Watch SE 3 has officially landed in Nepal. Positioned as the most affordable smartwatch in Apple's current lineup, the new model introduces notable performance gains, upgraded display tech, and improved health monitoring tools.
Design and Display
The Apple Watch SE 3 retains a familiar square chassis built from 100% recycled aluminum, complete with a side button and digital crown. Available in 40mm and 44mm sizes, the smartwatch offers 50-meter water resistance, though dust resistance is still omitted. This generation drops the silver color option, coming solely in Midnight and Starlight finishes.
While peak brightness remains at 1,000 nits, the display gets a major boost with Always-On support. Additionally, Apple has fortified the screen with Ion-X glass that is four times more crack-resistant than the Watch SE 2.
Performance and Connectivity
Powering the Watch SE 3 is the flagship S10 chipset—the exact same processor used in the Watch Series 11 and Watch Ultra 3. Built-in storage has been doubled from 32GB to 64GB, and the wearable now supports 5G connectivity. Navigation is enhanced with double-tap and wrist-flick gesture controls to quickly dismiss alerts. Out of the box, it operates on watchOS 26.
Battery Life and Fast Charging
Standard usage is still rated at up to 18 hours on a single charge. However, a new Low Power Mode extends operational time up to 32 hours. Fast charging is also included: 45 minutes of power takes the battery from 0 to 80%, while a quick 15-minute charge supplies up to 8 hours of battery life.
Health, Safety, and Media Capabilities
Although advanced sensors like ECG, blood oxygen tracking, and hypertension notifications remain exclusive to Apple's higher-end wearables, the Watch SE 3 introduces sleep apnea detection, a Sleep Score rating, and a skin temperature sensor for retrospective ovulation estimates. Existing safety features like crash and fall detection carry over. For fitness, a new "Workout Buddy" feature helps keep users on track. Crucially, the built-in speaker now supports direct media playback for music and podcasts for the first time in the SE series.
Apple Watch SE 3 Price in Nepal and Availability
The official price of the Apple Watch SE 3 in Nepal is set at NPR 57,500 for the 40mm model and NPR 64,500 for the 44mm variant. Buyers purchasing through authorized Apple outlets in Nepal receive a 1-year international warranty.
