Ahead of the anticipated arrival of the Galaxy Z Fold 8 series in Nepal, Samsung has officially announced a flat NPR 20,000 price reduction on the Galaxy Z Fold 7. Buyers in Nepal can now pick up this premium foldable at a discounted rate, alongside attractive exchange bonus offers.
Sleeker Build and Upgraded Displays
The Galaxy Z Fold 7 features notable design improvements, measuring just 8.9mm when folded and an ultra-thin 4.2mm when unfolded. Tipping the scales at 215 grams, it is 24 grams lighter than the previous generation and lighter than Samsung's Galaxy S25 Ultra. The device incorporates a redesigned Armor FlexHinge with a water-droplet structure and multi-rail mechanism to minimize display creasing. The frame is constructed from Advanced Armor Aluminum, which is 10% stronger, and carries an IP48 rating for water and dust resistance. Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 protects the cover display, while the main screen uses 50% thicker Ultra-Thin Glass (UTG) backed by a titanium plate.
The inner main display measures 8.0 inches—11% larger than its predecessor—while the outer screen comes in at 6.5 inches with a 21:9 aspect ratio. Both panels utilize Dynamic AMOLED 2X technology with a 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate and up to 2,600 nits peak brightness. Samsung replaced the under-display camera with a standard 10MP punch-hole camera on the main screen and removed S Pen support to achieve the thinner profile.
200MP Camera and Performance
The rear camera array is headlined by a 200MP ISOCELL HP2 primary sensor borrowed from the Galaxy S25 Ultra, offering 4x more detail and 44% brighter images. It is accompanied by a 12MP ultra-wide sensor (120° field of view) and a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. For selfies, there is a 10MP camera on the cover screen and another 10MP camera on the main screen (100° FOV). Image processing is handled by the ProVisual Engine, featuring intelligent motion detection for Night Video.
Under the hood, the phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor, delivering 41% faster NPU, 38% higher CPU, and 26% higher GPU performance. Memory configurations include 12GB or 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage.
Software, AI Capabilities, and Battery
Running One UI 8 based on Android 16, the Z Fold 7 includes large-screen Galaxy AI features like AI Results View, multimodal Gemini Live, and Circle to Search gaming assistance. AI-powered creative utilities include Photo Assist, Generative Edit with "Suggest Erases", Audio Eraser, and Side-by-Side Editing. Samsung guarantees 7 years of Android OS and security updates. The device relies on a 4,400 mAh battery with 25W fast wired charging (50% in roughly 30 minutes) and Fast Wireless Charging 2.0.
