Nothing has officially expanded its product lineup in Nepal with the introduction of its new B-series smartphone, the Nothing Phone (4b). The new device debuts a refreshed aesthetic alongside balanced mid-range specifications, including Qualcomm's Snapdragon processor, a high-brightness AMOLED display, and a solid camera setup.
Design and Display
Shifting away from the company's iconic fully transparent rear panel, the Nothing Phone (4b) adopts an opaque back with a smooth matte finish. It features a wide rear camera module hosting two camera sensors and a single "Glyph Bar" light strip designed for notification alerts, call indicators, and charging progress. The handset measures 8.6 mm in thickness, weighs 210 grams, and offers IP64 dust and water resistance, with Nothing rating it for water immersion up to 25 cm for up to 20 minutes. It is available in Black, Blue, and White color choices.
On the front, the phone carries a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2344 pixels. The panel supports an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate, a touch sampling rate of up to 1000Hz, and a peak brightness of 2000 nits, ensuring clear readability under sunlight.
Performance and Software
Powering the Nothing Phone (4b) is the 4nm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor, designed for smooth day-to-day multitasking and gaming. The phone is configured with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage in Nepal (a 256GB storage variant remains exclusive to India for now). On the software front, the phone runs NothingOS 4.1 based on Android 16 out of the box. Nothing promises three major Android version upgrades and six years of security patches.
Cameras and Battery
For photos and videos, the rear camera system includes a 50MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, supported by Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS). This is complemented by an 8MP ultra-wide camera with an f/2.2 aperture. Video recording goes up to 4K at 30fps. For selfies, there is a 16MP front-facing camera with an f/3.2 aperture.
The global variant of the device comes with a 5,200mAh battery (the Indian version packs a larger 6,000mAh capacity). Both models support 33W wired fast charging as well as 7.5W reverse wired charging.
