Motorola has expanded its budget smartphone lineup in Nepal with the launch of the Moto G06 Power, introduced alongside the Motorola Power G57. While sharing a design language similar to the standard Moto G06, this variant differentiates itself with a significantly larger battery capacity and faster charging capabilities.
Design and Display
The Moto G06 Power features a curved-edge body that seamlessly transitions into the side frame. It carries an IP64 dust and splash resistance rating and is offered in three color options: Laurel Oak, Tapestry, and Tendril. Fronting the device is a 6.88-inch IPS display with HD+ resolution and a smooth refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The panel reaches up to 600 nits of peak brightness for outdoor visibility and incorporates "Water Touch" technology for use with wet hands. Glass protection is handled by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 with Mohs level 4 rating.
Performance and Software
Powering the device is the MediaTek Helio G81 Extreme processor, which shares identical technical specifications with the Helio G81 Ultra. It is equipped with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 1TB using a microSD card. The phone operates on Android 15 and includes AI functionality such as Google's Gemini and "Circle to Search". Motorola offers 2 years of security updates for the phone, though no major Android OS updates are planned.
