HONOR is taking its CHOICE branding in a fresh direction. Previously associated with smart ecosystem accessories such as smartwatches and earbuds, the CHOICE moniker is now entering the smartphone market with the new HONOR CHOICE T10, which is launching soon in Nepal as an entry-level offering.
Design and Display
The CHOICE T10 sports a clean, functional design available in Black and Silver. It measures 168.8 x 78.4 x 8.8mm, featuring a wide footprint built around a 6.75-inch IPS LCD screen. The display has an HD+ resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels, providing ample room for watching videos, web browsing, and social media scrolling with reliable color output and wide viewing angles.
HONOR has also focused on practical durability for everyday use. Under laboratory testing, the device is rated to survive drops from up to 1 meter. While it offers added resilience against minor bumps, the company notes that real-world collisions can still cause damage depending on impact conditions.
Performance and Storage
Powering the Nepal-bound version of the HONOR CHOICE T10 is an octa-core UNISOC chipset, paired with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It incorporates RAM Turbo technology, utilizing available internal memory as virtual RAM for smoother multitasking. Users can expand the storage using a microSD/TF card via the built-in hybrid SIM slot.
Camera and Translation Features
For photos and video calls, the smartphone features a 13MP autofocus main camera on the back and a 5MP fixed-focus front camera. Beyond regular photography, the system integrates text recognition capabilities to capture and translate written text from menus, signs, and labels.
A major focus of the CHOICE T10 is its AI-assisted translation engine. It supports offline translation across multiple modes, including text-to-text (58 languages), text-to-speech (46 languages), and speech-to-speech (15 languages). It also handles simultaneous AI interpretation across 78 languages, including English, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean. Under test conditions, the voice recognition engine achieves up to 98% accuracy at speech rates up to 200 words per minute.
Battery and Charging
The handset packs a 5,000mAh battery capable of delivering 6 to 8 hours of continuous active use and up to 10 days of standby time. Recharging is handled through a USB Type-C port with standard 10W charging support.
