Honor is reportedly getting ready to unveil its upcoming Honor 700 lineup in China later this month. Prior to the official announcement, several leaks from tipsters on Weibo, including Digital Chat Station, have shed light on the key features and hardware details of both the standard Honor 700 and the Honor 700 Pro.
Support for 200mm Teleconverter
One of the most noteworthy additions rumored for the Honor 700 series is compatibility with an external 200mm teleconverter lens. Previously restricted to Honor's high-end Magic series flagships, this optical accessory extends zoom reach to capture distant subjects with clear detail. If true, this marks the first time Honor brings teleconverter functionality to a non-flagship lineup. However, details regarding how it mounts or whether it will be sold separately remain unconfirmed.
Camera Specs
The higher-end Honor 700 Pro is tipped to house a massive 200MP primary camera alongside a 50MP periscope telephoto lens. On the other hand, the standard Honor 700 model might skip the periscope shooter. Both devices are expected to support Live Photos on both front and rear cameras, alongside 100MP-class imaging output.
Display and Secondary Rear Screen
Up front, the lineup will feature mid-sized displays framed by ultra-narrow bezels on all four sides. The Honor 700 Pro is rumored to pack a 6.57-inch OLED panel delivering a 1.5K resolution. Intriguingly, the back panel is expected to feature a built-in 1.72-inch secondary display, potentially allowing users to frame selfies using the primary rear cameras. Multiple color options are also in the pipeline.
Massive Battery and Snapdragon Hardware
Battery endurance could be a primary highlight of the new series. Early reports indicate an engineering prototype of the Honor 700 Pro packs a huge 9,000mAh battery—reportedly the largest capacity in the family. Performance is expected to be powered by Snapdragon chipsets, though specific processor models and fast-charging capabilities have not surfaced yet.
Pricing and Availability in Nepal
Honor has not yet made an official announcement regarding the exact launch date, pricing, or full specifications for the Honor 700 series. Similarly, there is no official word on when or if the Honor 700 and Honor 700 Pro will land in Nepal. If the lineup makes its way to the Nepali market, local pricing will largely depend on the final variants and memory configurations offered.
