Soundcore has officially introduced its latest flagship over-ear headphones, the Soundcore Space 2 Pro, debuting alongside the new AeroClip 2 series at IFA 2026. Serving as the direct successor to the Space 2, this updated model brings Soundcore's proprietary THUS AI processing chip to its over-ear lineup, alongside improved noise cancellation, enhanced call quality, and high-resolution wireless audio.
Design and Ergonomics
The Space 2 Pro retains an over-ear form factor with a foldable structure for convenient storage and portability. It weighs 264g—matching the weight of its predecessor—and comes in three color options: Midnight Grey, Linen White, and Jet Black. For comfort, the headphones use protein-leather earcups paired with slow-rebound memory foam to deliver a plush fit while enhancing passive sound isolation. An adjustable headband ensures a customized fit for extended listening sessions.
Audio Quality and Features
Powering the audio experience is a 35mm driver with support for Hi-Res Audio via the LDAC codec (available on compatible Android devices, but not iOS). Listeners can create personalized sound profiles using HearID 5.0 and toggle Spatial Audio for immersive listening. Note that Spatial Audio cannot be enabled simultaneously with LDAC playback.
For noise cancellation, the headphones utilize Adaptive ANC 3.0, which dynamically modifies noise isolation based on environmental noise and ear fit. Users can also select custom ANC intensity levels or enable Transparency mode. Device controls include physical earcup buttons for track and volume management, as well as on-device AI voice control for hands-free operation.
Calls and Connectivity
Voice calls are handled by an 8-microphone array combined with the internal THUS AI chip. Voice isolation processing takes place directly on the headset rather than through the cloud, isolating the user's voice in noisy environments like open offices or public transport. Connectivity features include Bluetooth 6.1 and dual-device Multipoint pairing.
Battery and Charging
Without ANC, the Space 2 Pro offers up to 60 hours of playback. Enabling ANC brings runtime down to about 30 hours, while combining ANC with LDAC reduces it to around 20 hours. Enabling Wear Detection slightly alters these figures to 28 hours (ANC) and 18 hours (ANC + LDAC). A five-minute quick charge yields roughly eight hours of playback, with a full recharge taking two hours.
Price and Expected Launch in Nepal
The Soundcore Space 2 Pro goes on sale in the US on September 22 for USD 199.99. While an official Nepali launch date has not been confirmed, if it arrives in the local market, the Soundcore Space 2 Pro is expected to be priced around NPR 30,299.
