Soundcore has officially expanded its open-ear audio lineup with the introduction of the AeroClip 2 and AeroClip 2 Pro at IFA 2026. Built with a clip-on design that keeps the ear canal unobstructed, these next-generation earbuds blend ambient awareness with smart AI-driven features, upgraded drivers, and enhanced build durability.
Ergonomic Design and Audio Performance
Both models employ Soundcore's Ergo-Fit structure to ensure all-day comfort while maintaining awareness of surrounding sounds. The standard AeroClip 2 features a flexible silicone C-Bridge that is 35% softer than its predecessor and rated to endure over 10,000 stretches. It also comes with an IP57 rating for dust and water resistance. Under the hood, it packs a 12mm dual-magnetic driver supporting LDAC, AAC, and SBC codecs, along with HearID custom sound tuning and 3D surround sound capabilities.
Meanwhile, the AeroClip 2 Pro combines an open acoustic architecture with 11mm dual-diaphragm drivers and LDAC support, aiming at users who want higher hardware output alongside smart productivity tools.
Anker THUS AI Chip and Note-Taking Features
Because open-ear designs naturally let ambient noise in, call clarity can be a challenge. The AeroClip 2 addresses this using Anker's THUS AI chip and a six-sensor array—comprising four microphones and two voice-pickup units—to isolate the user's voice during calls. Users can also access AI Translation and AI Recording features through the Soundcore app.
The AeroClip 2 Pro takes intelligence further by acting as an AI note-taking tool. Featuring single-tap recording, it can capture live conversations, online conferences, and both sides of a phone call. Once transferred to a connected phone or tablet, the integrated AI tools can transcribe the recordings, generate concise summaries, and allow users to search past meeting notes easily.
Connectivity and Battery Endurance
The standard AeroClip 2 replaces touch controls with physical buttons and offers Bluetooth 6.0, dual-device multipoint connection, and Apple MFi certification. On a full charge, the earbuds deliver up to 8 hours of playback, extending to 32 hours with the charging case. A quick 10-minute charge provides 4 hours of playback, and the case supports USB-C and wireless charging.
The Pro model provides up to 10 hours from the earbuds alone and up to 30 hours with its charging case, with a 10-minute top-up delivering up to 3 hours of playback.
Price and Expected Availability in Nepal
The Soundcore AeroClip 2 will hit the US market on September 22 with a starting price of USD 169. Official launch details for Nepal have not been announced yet, but the series is anticipated to land in the Nepali tech market following its global release.
