Honor Nepal has expanded its smartphone lineup with the launch of the all-new Honor X8d, debuting alongside the premium Honor Magic 8 Pro and the Honor Pad X8b. Designed for users prioritizing long endurance and sleek design, the mid-range smartphone brings several notable features to the local market.
Design and Display
Despite housing a massive battery, the Honor X8d maintains a slim 7.5mm profile and weighs just 188 grams. It features a modern flat-frame design along with IP65 dust and splash resistance for durability. A standout feature is the dedicated physical AI button, which allows users to assign quick shortcuts to functions like the Torch, Google Lens, Honor AI, AI memories, and the AI mobile assistant. The phone comes in three distinct color choices: Blue, Grey, and Black.
For visuals, the device sports a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution (1080 × 2392 pixels). Equipped with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, the panel delivers solid outdoor brightness, making it suitable for daily usage, media consumption, and navigation apps.
Performance and Software
Under the hood, the X8d is driven by the Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 chipset, offering solid performance for basic multitasking, casual gaming, and content streaming. It comes equipped with 8GB of RAM, paired with either 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. Software duties are handled by MagicOS 10, which operates on top of Android 16.
Cameras, Battery, and Connectivity
In terms of optics, the smartphone carries a 108MP main rear camera alongside a 5MP ultra-wide sensor. On the front, there is a 16MP camera for selfies and video calls. All camera sensors support up to FHD video recording at 30 fps.
The centerpiece of the Honor X8d is its giant 7,000mAh battery, capable of lasting up to two days on moderate usage. It supports 45W fast charging, powering the battery from empty to 100% in approximately 90 minutes.
For connectivity, the device supports VoLTE and VoWiFi across both NTC and Ncell networks. Notably, it also includes support for NTC's native Carrier Video Calling, enabling direct video calling over 4G without requiring mobile data or a Wi-Fi connection.
