Honor has expanded its budget tablet portfolio in China with the launch of the Honor Pad X10 Mini. Departing slightly from its previous naming conventions like the Pad X7 and Pad X8 Lite, the brand has adopted the "Mini" moniker to highlight the compact build of this new entry-level tablet.
Durable Design and Display
The Honor Pad X10 Mini comes with an all-metal unibody build, measuring 8.48mm in thickness and weighing 477 grams. Designed with durability in mind, it features reinforced glass and holds both an SGS five-star gold certification for drop and pressure resistance as well as a MIL-STD-810H military-grade rating. It is currently offered in a Starry Grey finish.
On the front, the tablet equips a 9.7-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2,052 × 1,152 pixels. It supports a smooth 90Hz refresh rate, up to 500 nits of peak brightness, and 100% sRGB color gamut coverage, making it well-suited for reading, web browsing, and streaming media.
Performance, Software, and Cameras
Under the hood, the device is driven by a 6nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 processor. It is paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, with option to expand storage up to 2TB via a microSD card. The tablet runs on Honor's latest MagicOS 10 interface built on top of Android 16.
For optics, the Pad X10 Mini carries a 5MP camera on the back and a 5MP shooter on the front for video calls and online classes, with both sensors supporting up to Full HD video recording. Audio is handled by dual stereo speakers.
Battery Life, Kids Features, and Connectivity
Fueling the device is a substantial 8,000mAh battery that charges via a USB-C port at 15W. Honor rates the battery for up to 16 hours of video playback, 122 hours of audio streaming, or up to 82 days of standby time. Aimed at family usage, the tablet includes built-in educational resources such as Octonauts content, over 2,000 children's songs, and more than 17,000 animated videos. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0.
