Acer has officially introduced the Nitro 16S and Nitro V 16S AI (2025) gaming laptops in Nepal. These laptops come equipped with processor options from both AMD and Intel, alongside Nvidia's latest RTX 50-series graphics processing units. The lineup holds the distinction of being the first laptop series in Nepal to introduce the RTX 5060 GPU, while also offering an entry-level RTX 5050 option.
In terms of processing power, buyers can choose between the AMD Ryzen 7 260, AMD Ryzen AI 7 350, or the Intel Core 7 240H processor. While AMD's 8-core architecture delivers strong power efficiency, Intel's 10-core configuration provides additional muscle for demanding productivity workloads. For graphics, Acer incorporates either an RTX 5050 or an RTX 5060 featuring 8GB of GDDR7 VRAM, targeting mid-to-high level gaming and creative performance.
Display and Build
Both models sport a 16-inch IPS screen featuring WUXGA resolution and a standard 16:9 aspect ratio. The panel offers a high refresh rate of up to 180Hz, full 100% sRGB color space coverage, and up to 300 nits of peak brightness. Designed in a relatively slim chassis, the laptop weighs 2.10 kg and comes equipped with a 4-zone RGB backlit keyboard.
Memory, Battery, and Connectivity
The Nitro V 16S AI features 16GB of DDR5 RAM running at 5600MHz alongside a 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD for fast storage access. A 76Wh 4-cell lithium-ion battery supplies power to the unit, supported by a 135W power adapter.
For physical I/O ports, the laptop features two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, one USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port, an HDMI port, an Ethernet port, and a combined audio jack. Wireless options include Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.

The Acer Nitro V 16S AI (2025) is priced at NPR 219,999 for the RTX 5060 variant, while the RTX 5050 configuration costs NPR 238,000. Additionally, the standalone Acer Nitro 16S equipped with a Ryzen AI 7 350 processor and RTX 5050 graphics carries an official price of NPR 245,000. All variants are available through tech retail stores across Nepal.
