Dell has officially introduced its newest business-oriented notebook series in Nepal, bringing the Vostro 15 3530 to local consumers. Targeted at small business owners and enterprise professionals, this 15-inch laptop is distributed across Nepal through Max International and Neo Store.
Design and Display Features
Maintaining the classic look of Dell's 3000-series lineup, the Vostro 15 3530 comes in a 15-inch chassis weighing roughly 1.66 kg. A standout ergonomic feature is its lift hinge, which slightly elevates the keyboard base when opened. This design choice provides a more natural typing angle while improving airflow for the bottom vents and audio output from the dual speakers.
For optics, the laptop carries a 15.6-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) IPS screen with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. It includes an anti-glare panel to reduce reflections in bright lighting, alongside 250 nits of peak brightness and 45% NTSC color gamut coverage for comfortable indoor use.
Performance and Hardware
Under the hood, the Dell Vostro 3530 runs on 13th Gen Intel processors. Buyers can choose between the entry-level Core i3-1315U featuring 6 cores and 8 threads, or step up to the higher-end Core i5-1335U and Core i7-1355U, both of which pack 10 cores (2 performance and 8 efficiency cores). Graphical duties are handled by integrated Intel UHD or Intel Iris Xe graphics.
Memory configurations support up to 16GB of DDR4 RAM clocked at 3200MHz for seamless multitasking, paired with a fast 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD for quick boot times and file access.
Connectivity and Battery
Port selection is practical, featuring a USB 3.2 Gen 1 port, USB 2.0, USB Type-C (supporting DisplayPort Alt Mode), HDMI 1.4 output, an RJ45 Ethernet jack, and a universal audio port. Powering the machine is a 3-cell battery that supports fast charging via the included power adapter.
