Dell is preparing for a major rebranding of its laptop family starting in 2025, stepping away from familiar lines like Inspiron, Latitude, and XPS to introduce the DELL PRO MAX PREMIUM series. Before that shift takes place, one of the final classic XPS entries—the Dell XPS 13 9350 (2024)—has officially landed in the Nepali market.
Modern Unibody Design and Display Options
Maintaining the premium design language of previous models, the XPS 13 9350 features a CNC-milled unibody chassis. It measures 295.3mm in width, 199mm in depth, and just over 15mm in thickness, weighing a highly portable 1.2 kg. While the laptop supports up to a 13.4-inch 3K+ touch OLED screen with 400+ nits brightness and 100% DCI-P3 color coverage, the configuration currently available in Nepal features a non-touch IPS screen with a fast 120Hz refresh rate.
Intel Core Ultra Series 2 Performance
Under the hood, the laptop is powered by Intel's Core Ultra Series 2 Lunar Lake processors. Embracing a System-on-a-Chip (SoC) design similar to Apple's M-series, Lunar Lake integrates the CPU, GPU, NPU, and system memory onto a single die. The Nepal configuration comes with the Intel Core Ultra 7 256V chip featuring 8 cores and 8 threads, paired with Intel Arc 140V integrated graphics (8 Xe cores clocked up to 1.95 GHz), a 47 TOPS NPU for AI tasks, and 16GB of fast LPDDR5X-8533 RAM. Storage is provided by a swappable 512GB M.2 2242 SSD.
Battery, Connectivity, and Hardware Features
The device relies on a 55Wh battery that charges via USB Type-C ports located on either side. Physical connectivity is limited to two Thunderbolt 4 ports, though Dell bundles a dongle in the box providing USB Type-A and HDMI connectivity. Wireless features include Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 support.
For media and inputs, the XPS 13 9350 is equipped with a quad-speaker setup (2W + 2W configuration delivering an 8W peak output), an HFD webcam with an IR sensor, and a Windows Hello fingerprint scanner embedded in the power button. It also features a zero-lattice keyboard with 1mm key travel, a capacitive touch function row, and a glass haptic touchpad.
