QA Automation Engineer

Nevasce is seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer to lead and establish the quality assurance strategy for an ambitious new project from the ground up. In this role, you will take full ownership of designing robust automation frameworks while leveraging advanced AI-augmented testing tools to accelerate test execution and eliminate flakiness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks, evaluating code-first and agentic AI approaches.
• Develop reliable UI tests using modern Chromium-driven frameworks such as Playwright and Cypress.
• Utilize enterprise AI QA platforms (like Mabl, Testim, or Virtuoso) for natural language test creation and self-healing test capabilities.
• Execute visual regression testing using tools like Applitools or Percy to catch visual bugs and UI rendering issues.
• Integrate test suites into CI/CD deployment pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions) for deterministic testing on every commit.
• Collaborate closely with software engineers to reproduce issues, isolate bugs, and define feature acceptance criteria.
