Global College of Technology (GCT) is seeking an experienced academic leader for the position of Principal. Reporting to the Executive Chairman, the PHL Board, and acting as the Designated Academic Liaison Officer (DALO) to the University of Huddersfield, the Principal will drive academic excellence, operational efficiency, and institutional expansion.
Core Responsibilities:
- Academic Direction: Champion the college's 'Foundations First' ethos and 'Human Systems' framework across undergraduate pathways in Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, and Cyber Security. Oversee faculty recruitment, development, UoH vetting, and the Personal Academic Tutor (PAT) mentoring model.
- TNE & Regulatory Compliance: Guarantee that local academic standards satisfy UK Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) criteria and UoH moderation guidelines. Maintain full compliance with Nepal's Ministry of Education and Sports (MoES) and University Grants Commission (UGC) frameworks.
- Strategic Growth & Partnerships: Utilize GCT's strategic location in the Baneshwor Tech Epicentre to form industry ties (including with firms like Fusemachines and Leapfrog), direct the Incubation Centre for Entrepreneurship, and build synergy across the Professional Holdings Limited (PHL) network.
- Campus Management: Supervise campus administration, smart learning setups, AI and robotics laboratories, cloud infrastructure (Microsoft 365/Azure), extracurricular/co-curricular activities, and grievance resolution.
