Primary Grade Tibetan Language Teacher

Tergar School Kathmandu is seeking two enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Grade Teachers with strong written and spoken Tibetan language capabilities. The selected educators will oversee foundational primary-level instruction for Grade 2 and Grade 3 students, seamlessly incorporating Tibetan language learning into daily classroom routines, storytelling, and cultural appreciation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver interactive, age-appropriate daily lessons for Grade 2 and Grade 3 in alignment with the primary curriculum.
• Teach basic to intermediate Tibetan language skills, emphasizing reading, Sambhota script writing, and conversational speaking.
• Enhance student vocabulary and fluency through storytelling, guided reading, dictation, rhymes, and interactive practice.
• Track, evaluate, and report each child's academic and linguistic growth, sharing progress during Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs).
• Develop engaging learning aids, visual charts, flashcards, and interactive worksheets tailored for primary students.
• Collaborate with faculty to organize school assemblies, Tibetan literacy activities, and cultural programs.
• Maintain a safe, nurturing, and well-managed classroom environment where young learners feel secure.
