Sustainable Development Teacher

Numbur Vocational Training Centre, situated in Soludhundkunda Municipality–7, Garma, Solukhumbu, is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Sustainable Development Teacher. This role is ideal for an educator passionate about environmental conservation, local sustainability, and empowering mountain communities through practical instruction.

In this position, you will translate theoretical sustainability principles into impactful, real-world learning experiences. Key responsibilities include:

• Planning and conducting structured lessons on environmental conservation, climate resilience, biodiversity, and sustainable resource management.
• Developing engaging educational materials, course plans, and practical field activities.
• Guiding students through hands-on environmental projects and community-focused sustainability programs.
• Evaluating student growth and delivering actionable feedback to foster skill acquisition.
• Collaborating with team members, local residents, and partner organizations to further environmental awareness.

Position Details & Benefits:

• Base Salary: NPR 40,000 per month, with additional merit-based performance adjustments.
• Facilities: Full accommodation and meals provided on-site.
• Retirement/Savings: 10% Citizen Investment Trust (CIT) contribution, subject to institution policy.
• Duty Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Age Limit: Candidates must be at least 27 years old.
