Local Fundraising Officer

SOS Children's Villages Nepal is dedicated to providing care, support, and quality education to children who have lost or are at risk of losing parental care. To strengthen our resource mobilization efforts across the country, we are looking for an enthusiastic and results-driven Local Fundraising Officer to join our team.

In this position, you will be responsible for designing and implementing effective local fundraising strategies to generate support from individual donors, corporate partners, and local community groups within Nepal. You will work to build strong public support and secure sustainable funding necessary for our long-term child care and family strengthening programs.

Core Responsibilities:

• Identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with local individual donors, corporate sponsors, and philanthropic networks.
• Plan, organize, and execute local fundraising campaigns, direct appeals, and special donor events.
• Prepare persuasive fundraising proposals, presentations, and communication materials tailored to local supporters.
• Manage donor database records, ensure prompt acknowledgment of contributions, and provide regular reporting to donors.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align fundraising initiatives with organizational priorities.
