Forensic Accountant

Global Corporate Tech is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Forensic Accountant to join the Finance & Compliance department. In this critical position, you will lead efforts to detect financial discrepancies, evaluate complex transactional records, and uphold high standards of organizational integrity. You will be instrumental in protecting company assets through detailed internal audits, fraud risk assessments, and the reconstruction of financial histories to ensure full alignment with regulatory and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead forensic inquiries into suspected financial misconduct, fraud, embezzlement, or compliance breaches.
• Reconstruct and reconcile complex, altered, or missing transactional histories and financial records.
• Analyze operational metrics, bank statements, ledger entries, and financial reports using data analytics utilities.
• Draft structured, objective forensic reports for leadership, legal advisors, and regulatory agencies.
• Work alongside legal advisors to deliver litigation support and act as a financial subject-matter expert in legal proceedings.
• Review internal oversight mechanisms and design proactive risk-mitigation and compliance monitoring structures.
