Job Description

Fishtail Tours and Travels is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Finance Manager to direct our full spectrum of financial and accounting operations. This position requires an experienced leader to supervise departmental staff, manage financial records, oversee sister organizations, and maintain strict statutory compliance.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Direct overall accounting functions, including general ledger management, billing, daily postings, and financial reporting.
Produce monthly profit and loss analyses categorized by organizational performance, fleet vehicles, and individual client files.
Execute regular bank reconciliations, address discrepancies swiftly, and oversee cash handling procedures.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, maintaining aging schedules and organizing vendor/client payment timelines.
Supervise the finance team, establish clear workflow expectations, evaluate performance, and direct sister company accounts.
Coordinate with banking partners and prepare essential documentation for loan applications and financial projections.
Compile and file accurate VAT reports, ensuring prompt renewals of company licenses, registrations, and regulatory requirements.
Prepare comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly financial statements for senior leadership.

Requirements

Proven professional experience in finance management or senior accounting roles.
Strong leadership abilities with a track record of effectively managing teams and departments.
In-depth knowledge of financial reporting, bank reconciliations, VAT filing, and statutory compliance.
Excellent analytical, decision-making, and organizational skills.
