Data Scientist - Machine Learning & AI

Dlytica Nepal is seeking a talented Data Scientist to join its expanding Data Science & AI team. In this position, you will be responsible for creating advanced data-driven solutions, machine learning models, and cutting-edge AI applications for international enterprise clients. The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in Python, SQL, machine learning algorithms, MLOps, and modern AI frameworks, paired with excellent communication skills for direct client engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and operationalize feature engineering, training, and serving pipelines for ML and Generative AI projects, utilizing MLflow for experiment tracking and model registry.
• Support the delivery of Generative AI and agentic workflows on Databricks, including data preparation for RAG architectures, vector search integration, and tools like Databricks Genie Spaces.
• Transform preliminary notebook concepts into fully functional, production-ready AI solutions on the Databricks platform.
• Develop reusable Databricks accelerators and templates for frequent AI/ML workloads (such as forecasting, personalization, and RAG systems) to streamline deployment times for clients.
• Fine-tune and optimize Databricks clusters, jobs, and automated workflows to ensure maximum cost-efficiency, speed, and production reliability.
• Engage directly with client technical teams and stakeholders to collect requirements, solve technical challenges, and deliver complete documentation and operational runbooks.
