Job Description

Asian Aid Organisation is seeking a dedicated and creative Communications Coordinator based primarily in Nepal to support content development across our international development programs. In this role, you will collaborate closely with local communities, partner organisations, and supporters to produce engaging content that highlights the positive impact of our work across Asia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create high-quality, ethical content for print and digital channels, including articles, photography, videography, and supporter stories.
  • Review partner reports and translate field data into inspiring communications for donors and supporters.
  • Support integrated marketing, fundraising, and communications initiatives to strengthen brand awareness and engagement.
  • Prepare, edit, and distribute materials such as website updates, email newsletters, annual reports, and fundraising campaigns.
  • Provide training, resources, and guidance to build communications capacity among partner organisations.
  • Assist in planning and facilitating supporter visits and engagement experiences within Nepal.
  • Travel to field sites as required to gather media content, document project outcomes, and support local initiatives.

Requirements

  • University degree in Communications, Media, Marketing, Journalism, or a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in communications, media, public relations, or marketing.
  • Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities with a proven capacity to manage priorities independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with content creation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (or similar design software).
  • Competency or willingness to be trained in basic photography and videography.
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
  • Alignment with Christian ethics, values, and a passion for supporting vulnerable communities.
  • Prior experience in non-profit, humanitarian, or donor communications is desirable.
