Samsung has officially revised its Insta Finance scheme in Nepal, effective from October 15, 2026. The updated financing model introduces flexible repayment tenures, lower down payment choices, and revised interest rates across various Galaxy smartphones and tablets.
Under the new rules, smartphones priced above NPR 24,999 and tablets priced over NPR 19,999 are eligible for financing.
EMI Options for Galaxy A-Series
For the Galaxy A-series family—covering the A0x, A1x, A2x, A3x, and A5x lineups—buyers can select a standard 12-month EMI plan. This plan requires a 40% down payment and comes with 0% interest for the customer, backed by a 1.50% interest rate subsidy from Samsung.
For higher-tier A-series smartphones priced above NPR 50,000, customers can opt for an extended 24-month repayment plan. This scheme retains the 40% down payment requirement but carries a 7.99% interest rate. Devices like the upcoming Galaxy A17 (8GB RAM + 256GB storage) are slated to join this 24-month category.
Flagship Smartphone Financing
Samsung's premium flagship devices are available under two primary financing plans. The 12-month plan demands a 40% down payment and offers a 0% interest rate, supported by a 0.50% interest subsidy. Alternatively, buyers seeking smaller monthly payments can pick the 24-month tenure with a 40% down payment at an interest rate of 7.99%.
36-Month EMI Plan for Foldables
A major addition to the scheme is an extended 36-month EMI option dedicated to the Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy Z Flip8 series. Unlike standard plans, this 3-year financing option requires only a 20% upfront down payment. It features a 10.99% interest rate and is exclusively available to eligible HFL loyal customers who receive a direct SMS notification.
Tablet Financing
Samsung tablets priced above NPR 19,999 also qualify for Insta Finance under the revised terms. The interest rate subsidy applied to tablets matches the subsidy offered for the entry-level Galaxy A1x and A0x series, with exact terms varying by model.
