Pokhara University has officially announced the postponement of all undergraduate and postgraduate examinations scheduled for Ashoj 9 and 10, 2083. These examinations were being conducted as part of the university's Spring 2026 academic session.
Reasons for Exam Postponement
According to the notice released by the Office of the Controller of Examinations at Pokhara University, the decision was made after evaluating current weather patterns and official advisories. The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology had issued forecasts warning of persistent heavy rainfall in various regions throughout Nepal. Continuous downpours have caused widespread waterlogging, severe road degradation, and travel disruptions in multiple districts, making it difficult and unsafe for students to reach their designated exam centers.
Revised Schedule Details
Considering the safety of examinees, faculty members, and administrative staff during these unfavorable weather conditions, the university administration concluded that deferring the assessments was necessary. Pokhara University informed students that further updates regarding the revised examination schedule for the affected subjects will be published soon through an official university notice. Students are advised to regularly check official university communications for the rescheduled dates.
