Legal Updates and Digital Learning
Legal amendments were made to the Education Act 2028 and Education Regulations 2059 to minimize political influence in school management. The Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) Regulations underwent a sixth amendment to support the National Vocational Qualifications Framework. Additionally, standards granting free education to families of martyrs and individuals injured in the Gen-Z movement were established.
Digital education saw significant progress through the 'Sikai Chautari' app, which provided online orientation to 36,289 teachers. The platform currently registers 220,750 users and 456,826 downloads. Accelerated Exam Results and Digital Services
Administrative and service timelines improved notably during this period. Secondary Education Examination (SEE) results were published within one month, Grade 12 results were released in 40 days, and universities began working toward publishing results within 65 days. The No Objection Certificate (NOC) process continued its shift to a fully digital format, with integration completed for 10 universities. Furthermore, the Ministry resolved all 212 public grievances logged through the 'Hello Sarkar' portal.
Sports Accomplishments and Community Engagement
In sports, Nepal competed in 192 international tournaments, bringing home 51 gold, 22 silver, and 19 bronze medals. A total of Rs 108.34 million in monetary awards was distributed to 104 winning athletes. Preparations for the 10th National Sports Games were officially scheduled, while special national squad training under 'Mission 2026' progressed. Finally, Nepal Scouts delivered general training to 696 individuals, disaster management training to 70 people, and mobilized 23,175 volunteers for local community initiatives.
