Infinix has officially expanded its smartphone lineup in Nepal with the launch of the Infinix Note 8i. Available exclusively through Daraz, this new handset serves as a more budget-friendly alternative to the standard Infinix Note 8, featuring slight adjustments in display size and camera setup while retaining core performance capabilities.

The Infinix Note 8i sports a 6.78-inch TFT IPS display offering an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1640 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20.5:9. The screen achieves a peak brightness of 480 nits and features a single punch-hole cutout on the top-left corner for the selfie camera. On the rear, the phone showcases a striking gem-cut aesthetic with diamond patterns in various shades. It is available in three color options: Gray, Blue, and Green.
Performance and Software
Under the hood, the device is powered by the MediaTek Helio G80 processor, an upgrade over the Helio G70 found in its predecessor, the Note 7. The G80 chip includes faster Cortex-A55 efficiency cores clocked at 1.8GHz (compared to 1.7GHz on the G70) and a Mali G52 GPU running at 950 MHz (up from 820 MHz). In Nepal, the device comes in a single memory configuration packed with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
