Bhugarbha Cement Ltd., an expanding manufacturing enterprise in Nepal, is seeking a competent and results-driven professional to fill the position of Accounts Head within our Finance & Accounts Department.
In this leadership role, you will be responsible for directing all accounting operations, ensuring rigorous statutory compliance, and providing strategic financial insights to executive management across both corporate and factory units.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Direct and supervise all financial management and accounting operations of the organization.
- Prepare, examine, and present comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Oversee statutory tax obligations, ensuring timely compliance with Nepalese VAT, TDS, Excise, and corporate tax regulations.
- Maintain control over general ledgers, bank reconciliations, cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Formulate corporate budgets, financial forecasts, and detailed management reporting.
- Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors, financial institutions, tax departments, and regulatory authorities.
- Enforce strong internal accounting controls and verify all supporting documents, purchase invoices, and journal vouchers.
- Lead, mentor, and assess the performance of the finance and accounting team.
