Digital Himalayan Sweets N Treats is seeking a dedicated Accountant to manage core bookkeeping, factory cost accounting, inventory control, and tax compliance. In this position, you will maintain accurate financial ledgers, compute manufacturing costs, prepare tax documentation, and collaborate closely with production and warehouse personnel.
Primary Responsibilities:
- General Accounting & Taxation: Record daily sales, purchases, and expenses; maintain cash and bank books; manage receivables and payables; process salary records; and prepare TDS schedules and VAT data for timely compliance filings.
- Factory & Cost Accounting: Track raw materials, packaging, work-in-progress, and finished goods; record daily consumption; determine overall and unit-level production costs; keep track of factory wastage or expired goods; and compare actual costs against historic data.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock ledgers for all inventory movements; lead periodic physical inventory audits; generate stock reconciliation reports; and oversee documentation for stock transfers between production and warehouse teams.
