Tribhuvan University (TU) has announced that it will arrange special examinations within the second week of Ashoj for students directly impacted by the recent Bhotekoshi River flash floods in Rasuwagadhi. This initiative aims to assist candidates who were unable to attend their scheduled tests despite the updated examination timelines.
The provision specifically applies to examinees facing severe difficulties due to the disaster. This includes students currently undergoing treatment in hospitals for flood-related injuries, as well as those who lost family members and are presently performing final rites or who lost their homes.
Required Verification Documents
To qualify for the special examinations, impacted candidates must present official supporting documentation. Students who were hospitalized need to submit valid hospital admission records confirming their treatment. Meanwhile, candidates who suffered the loss of family members or property must provide official recommendation letters or certifications issued by their respective local government authorities.
Exam Execution and Schedule Details
According to TU officials, these special tests will be conducted as regular examinations. The Office of the Controller of Examinations in Balkhu, alongside the respective Dean's Offices, will designate the specific examination centers for the affected students.
Additionally, the university clarified that other general examinations that were postponed on Bhadra 10 owing to the flood situation will be held in accordance with the revised timetable published earlier.
