Overview and Design
Oppo has expanded its premium audio lineup with the debut of the Oppo Enco X4 earbuds in China, launching alongside the Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max flagship smartphones. The new TWS features a compact in-ear stem design with shorter stems for an ergonomic fit. Each earbud weighs 5.6 grams and measures 30.7 × 21.2 × 23.9mm, while the entire setup with the case weighs approximately 53 grams. The charging case itself measures 63.6 × 49.9 × 25.3mm and combines a rounded profile with a metal frame and matte finish. Built for active use, the earbuds feature foam-infused silicone ear tips for improved acoustic sealing and come with an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance.
Acoustics and Active Noise Cancellation
Under the hood, the Enco X4 relies on a coaxial dual-driver system containing an 11mm dynamic woofer for low frequencies and a 6mm tweeter for clear high notes. Developed with Dynaudio tuning, it integrates dual DAC crossover technology to manage frequencies efficiently. The earbuds support up to 2.3Mbps lossless audio transmission, 48kHz/24-bit audio resolution, spatial audio, and multiple codecs including LHDC, AAC, SBC, and LC3. Driven by a 6nm audio chip, the active noise cancellation (ANC) system can block up to 99.8% of daily ambient noise across deep, medium, light, adaptive, and transparency modes. Voice calls are handled by a four-microphone system paired with AI call noise reduction.
Smart Features, Battery, and Charging
The Oppo Enco X4 is packed with AI-powered features, including real-time translation for 24 languages, head-gesture controls, and quick voice commands. For connectivity, it features Bluetooth 6.1 with dual-device pairing capabilities over a range of 10 meters. Users can customize settings using the HeyMelody app, or directly via native Bluetooth settings on ColorOS devices.
Battery performance is rated at up to 13 hours for the earbuds alone and up to 53 hours total with the case (tested using AAC codec with ANC disabled). Each earbud holds a 65mAh battery, while the charging case houses a 576mAh battery. Refilling the earbud battery via USB Type-C takes about 55 minutes, while the case takes around 65 minutes. Wireless charging is also supported and takes roughly 2.5 hours.
Price and Availability
The Oppo Enco X4 comes in Soft White, Pink Gold, and Titanium Grey colorways. In China, it carries a retail price of CNY 1,199, with a limited pre-sale price of CNY 1,099. Shipping begins on September 24. While international availability details have not been released, if launched in Nepal, the Oppo Enco X4 is expected to be priced at around NPR 27,399.
