During the event, Motorola took the stage to offer a sneak peek at its upcoming top-tier smartphone, the Motorola Signature 27, which debuts a dramatic redesign and impressive internal hardware.
Fresh Aesthetics and Audio Partnership
Moving away from its previous uniform design language, Motorola has overhauled the look of the Signature 27. The device features a prominent camera island that occupies nearly the entire top half of the back panel. It will be available in Pantone Coal Smoke and Pantone Capulet Olive colorways, both showcasing a fabric-inspired finish. Motorola has also partnered with renowned audio firm Bang & Olufsen, placing 'Audio by B&O' branding right on the rear camera plateau.
High-End Hardware and Advanced Cooling
Performance on the Signature 27 is driven by Qualcomm's flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 processor, offering strong processing power and on-device AI capabilities. To maintain sustained performance during heavy tasks and gaming, Motorola integrated its new 'ArcticMesh' thermal system. This cooling mechanism utilizes diamond-infused thermal gel, copper mesh, and a redesigned 3D vapor chamber with liquid metal that is 40% larger than the first-generation Motorola Signature.
Quad Cameras and Long-Term Software Support
The smartphone carries a quad-camera system on the rear. Key confirmed details include a 50MP Sony LYTIA 910 main sensor alongside a 200MP periscope telephoto camera for high-resolution zoomed shots. For video stabilization, the camera module features '3.5° OIS hardware'. Out of the box, the Signature 27 will run Android 17, with Motorola promising 7 years of OS and security updates.
