Apple officially unveiled its redesigned Mac Mini desktop lineup powered by the latest M4 and M4 Pro silicon during its "Week of Mac" announcements back in October last year. The compact desktop computer made its debut in Nepal a couple of months ago, and buyers can currently get the M4 Mac Mini with an attractive flat discount of NPR 10,000 through authorized sellers across the country.
Redesigned and Ultra-Compact Build
The new Mac Mini models feature a significantly smaller footprint reminiscent of a scaled-down Mac Studio. Focusing on simplicity and portability, each unit measures just 12.7 cm on each side and stands 5 cm tall. In terms of weight, the standard M4 model weighs around 670 grams, whereas the M4 Pro version comes in slightly heavier at 730 grams.
Performance, Storage, and I/O Ports
Targeted at users needing extreme performance, the M4 Pro configurations can be configured with up to 64GB of unified memory and up to 8TB of fast storage. Both models run on macOS Sequoia out of the box and incorporate Apple Intelligence for improved overall functionality.
Apple has also refreshed the physical port selection. On the front panel, you now get two USB-C ports alongside a standard headphone jack. Around the back, the devices feature three Thunderbolt ports—offering Thunderbolt 4 on the M4 variant and the faster Thunderbolt 5 standard on the M4 Pro. Additionally, the rear panel includes an HDMI port, a power connector, and a Gigabit Ethernet port that can be upgraded to 10Gb Ethernet. Wireless connectivity options comprise fast Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.
Mac Mini M4 Price in Nepal and Availability
The Mac Mini M4 lineup is officially available for purchase through authorized resellers nationwide. The base configuration of the Mac Mini M4 featuring 16GB of unified memory and 256GB of storage starts at NPR 145,000 in Nepal. Meanwhile, the higher-end Mac Mini M4 Pro equipped with 24GB of memory and 512GB of storage costs NPR 291,500.
