Lenovo has added another powerful compact tablet to its Legion lineup with the new Y700 AI (2026). The tablet is aimed mainly at gamers and power users, bringing a flagship Snapdragon chipset, a high-refresh-rate OLED display, 5G connectivity, and a large battery. It also retains the compact form factor of the Y700 series, making it easier to hold during gaming than larger tablets. In this article, I will discuss this flagship tablet in detail, including the expected Lenovo Legion Y700 AI (2026) price in Nepal, specifications, and availability.
Starting with the design, the Lenovo Legion Y700 AI keeps the compact form factor that the Y700 series is known for. It measures just 6.5mm thick and weighs around 298 grams, making it relatively easy to hold during long gaming sessions. The tablet has a metal body with rounded corners and comes in “Ice White”, “Cloud Purple”, and “Cloud Tide Purple” color options.
Moving to the back, the tablet gets a clean rear panel with the Legion branding and a single-camera setup. The camera island has a distinct gaming-inspired look, while the tablet also has an RGB ring around the camera lens that Lenovo terms “Legion Halo”. The lighting adds a bit of gaming flair and can be customized according to your preference. However, Lenovo has not officially mentioned an IP rating for the Y700 AI, so there is no confirmed dust or water resistance rating to mention here.
On the front, you get an 8.4-inch OLED display with a 2.5K resolution that should deliver pretty sharp and crisp visuals on screen while playing high-graphics games. Under the hood, the Legion Y700 AI is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. This is the same chip that we recently saw in phones like the Xiaomi 17 Ultra and Honor Magic 8 Pro . However, the phone and tablet have different form factors, so the thermal and sustained performance might be slightly better in this tablet.
For sustained gaming, Lenovo has equipped the tablet with its third-generation “Qiankun” cooling system. It includes a large 15,000mm² vapor chamber designed to keep temperatures under control during longer gaming sessions. The tablet also comes with dual speakers, Dolby Atmos support, and two X-axis linear vibration motors for a more immersive gaming experience.
Memory-wise, the tablet comes with up to 24GB of LPDDR5T RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. On the software side, the Y700 AI runs on Android 16 with Lenovo’s ZUI 16 interface. For connectivity, it supports 5G with dual-SIM dual-standby, along with Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.

In China, the base 12/256GB variant is priced at CNY 5,500 (~$820, INR 6,999), while the top-end 24GB/1TB model costs CNY 8,000 (~1,190, INR 11,999). If this launches here, we expect the Lenovo Legion Y700 AI (2026) price in Nepal to start at NPR 139,999.
