The Insta360 GO 3S action camera is officially available in Nepal, bringing significant upgrades over its predecessor, the GO 3. Known for its ultra-compact form factor, the S-model steps up the video recording capabilities while maintaining its signature wearable design.
Design and Accessories
Featuring the iconic pill-shaped body, the Insta360 GO 3S houses a large circular lens module. It is available in Arctic White and Midnight Black color options. The standalone camera unit weighs 39.1 grams, slightly up from the 35.5 grams on the previous generation. Included in the package is the versatile Action Pod, which acts as a multi-function charging unit and features a 2.2-inch flip touchscreen for controls and monitoring. The Action Pod carries an IPX4 splash resistance rating. Standard inbox accessories include a Magnet Pendant, Easy Clip, Pivot Stand, and Lens Guard.
Performance Upgrades and Key Features
The most notable improvement on the Insta360 GO 3S is the bump in video resolution from 2.7K to 4K, nearly doubling the pixel density thanks to a upgraded chip delivering 50% more computing power. Water resistance for the camera pill has also been elevated to 1 ATM.
The device supports hands-free POV capturing via magnetic mounting, alongside Insta360's FlowState Stabilisation. Shooting controls include one-tap QuickCapture, gesture control, and voice commands. Additional features include MegaView FOV to minimize ultrawide lens distortion, Apple Find My network integration for tracking camera location, and automated AI video editing. When combined with the Action Pod, the camera system provides up to 140 hours of total battery performance.
