Overview and Design
Honor has officially expanded its mid-range lineup with the launch of the Honor X7e in Malaysia. Arriving as the successor to last year's Honor X7c, the new smartphone introduces noticeable updates to battery capacity, software experience, and everyday utility. The device features a streamlined design with a vertical camera island reminiscent of the POCO X8 Pro and POCO X8 Pro Max. Offered in Sunrise Orange, Light Blue, and Midnight Black, the phone measures 8.3mm in thickness and weighs 200 grams. It also carries an IP64 rating for resistance against dust and water splashes.
Display and Performance
On the front, the Honor X7e carries a compact 6.61-inch TFT LCD panel with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. However, the screen resolution has been reduced to HD+, putting it at a slight disadvantage against competitors like the Tecno Pova Curve 2, Infinix Note Edge, and Infinix Note 60.
Under the hood, the device is powered by an entry-level MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra processor built on a 12nm architecture, replacing the 4nm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 found on the X7c. Due to lower CPU efficiency and reduced GPU performance, gamers may want to consider higher-performing alternatives in a similar price segment, such as the POCO X8 Pro. Memory configurations go up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.
Camera, Battery, and Features
The rear camera system incorporates a 50MP f/1.8 AI Ultra-Clear primary lens paired with an auxiliary sensor capable of 10x digital zoom. Unlike its predecessor, this model gets Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF) for sharper shots of fast-moving subjects. For front-facing shots and video calls, there is a 5MP f/2.2 selfie camera.
Battery performance is a major selling point, with the phone featuring a huge 7500mAh silicone carbon cell (up from 5200mAh on the X7c). It supports 45W wired fast charging along with 7.5W reverse wired charging, providing up to 31.7 hours of continuous video playback. The device runs MagicOS 10 based on Android 16 out of the box, includes a dedicated physical AI button for quick actions, and supports Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity.
Honor X7e Price in Nepal and Availability
In Malaysia, the 6GB RAM + 256GB storage variant of the Honor X7e is priced at MYR 899 (around USD 225 or INR 21,999). Upon its official arrival in the Nepali market, the expected price of the Honor X7e in Nepal is estimated to be NPR 40,999.
