HONOR has officially completed its Play 11 lineup in China by unveiling the standard HONOR Play 11. Following the earlier introduction of the Play 11 Plus and Play 11 Pro, this baseline model serves as a budget-friendly option without sacrificing key features like extreme battery endurance and drop resistance.
Design and Durability
The device measures 168.3 x 78.54 x 8.30mm and weighs 216.5 grams. It comes in four distinct color shades: Desert Gold, Mist Purple, Meteor Silver, and Phantom Black. Notably, durability is a primary focus, as the phone holds IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and high-pressure water protection. It also features SGS Gold Label five-star certification for compression and drop resistance, surviving falls from up to 2.5 meters.
Display and Performance
Up front, the HONOR Play 11 sports a 6.87-inch TFT LCD panel with an HD+ resolution of 1592 x 720 pixels and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The screen reaches up to 1,020 nits in High Brightness Mode (HBM) and includes DC dimming, eye comfort mode, and a natural light-like display setting.
Under the hood, the smartphone is driven by Qualcomm's 4nm Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 chipset, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. It boots MagicOS 10.0 based on Android 16. A physical dedicated AI button is included on the frame, allowing users quick access to functions such as AI face-swap detection, Any Door, remote assistance, and pop-up window management.
Camera, Battery, and Features
For optics, the phone offers a simple setup featuring a 50MP primary rear camera (f/1.8) and a 5MP selfie camera (f/2.2). Audio is handled by stereo speakers featuring a high-volume mode that boosts sound output by up to 400%.
The standout highlight of the smartphone is its massive 8,300mAh battery—out-sizing the 7,000mAh units on its Pro and Plus siblings. It supports 45W fast charging via USB Type-C and is rated to maintain health over six years under laboratory test conditions. Other hardware features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, 5G support, dual Nano-SIM slots, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 4.2, and NFC.
