Dell has expanded its laptop lineup in Nepal with the introduction of the new Dell Pro 14 and Dell Pro 14 Plus (2025) ultrabooks. Representing the revamped incarnation of the traditional Latitude Series under Dell's updated branding, these midrange laptops aim to deliver a blend of reliability, sleek portable design, and modern hardware performance for office workers, students, and everyday users.
Design and Display
The Dell Pro 14 series adopts a clean business aesthetic available in either a sleek "Platinum Silver" or a textured "Magnetite" color option. Both versions are built to last, having undergone MIL-STD testing for military-grade durability while remaining light at just 1.35 kg. For visuals, the devices carry a 14-inch FHD+ IPS panel featuring an anti-glare coating, up to 300 nits of brightness, and 45% NTSC color gamut coverage. An FHD camera is embedded in the top bezel for high-definition video calls.
Performance, Memory, and Storage
Under the hood, the standard Dell Pro 14 relies on the refreshed Intel "Raptor Lake" Series 1 processor for daily computing. Meanwhile, the step-up Dell Pro 14 Plus packs newer Intel Core Ultra Series 2 chips, offering choices between the Ultra 5 235U and Ultra 7 255U. Both Ultra CPUs feature 12 cores and 14 threads, with boost speeds topping out at 4.9 GHz on the Ultra 5 and 5.2 GHz on the Ultra 7. Integrated graphics handle everyday visual output and basic gaming.
Memory and storage configurations include up to 32GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of NVMe SSD storage.
Battery, Connectivity, and Ports
Depending on the model, power is supplied by either a 45 Wh or 55 Wh battery rated for up to 10.3 hours of use, replenished via a bundled 65W AC adapter. Connectivity options feature Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4. Dell has also equipped the laptops with a robust selection of ports, including one Thunderbolt 4, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, multiple USB-A ports, an HDMI 2.1 port, an RJ45 Ethernet jack, and a wedge-shaped lock slot for physical security.
