Following Dell's recent lineup reclassification into Dell, Dell Pro, and Dell Pro Max categories—replacing legacy branding like Inspiron, XPS, and Latitude—the newly refreshed Dell 15 (2025) has officially landed in Nepal. This budget-friendly machine brings options for both Intel 13th Gen and AMD Ryzen 7000 Series processors to the local market.
Design and Display Features
The Dell 15 retains a practical, functional design available in Carbon Black plastic or Platinum Silver aluminum finishes. It measures 358.50 x 235.56 x 16.96 – 18.99 mm and weighs 1.90 kg, making it fairly manageable for a 15.6-inch notebook.
Upfront, you get a 15.6-inch IPS Full HD panel with a traditional 16:9 aspect ratio. The screen delivers 250 nits of typical brightness and 45% NTSC color gamut coverage, which suits general everyday use and indoor media consumption. The standout feature here is its 120Hz refresh rate, a rare inclusion in this price segment where 60Hz panels remain standard.
Performance and Hardware Configurations
Under the hood, the Dell 15 comes in distinct variants. The entry-level DC15250 model features an Intel Core 3 100U processor with 6 cores, 8 threads, and a boost speed up to 4.7 GHz, paired with Intel UHD Graphics and 8GB DDR4 RAM clocked at 2666 MT/s.
Meanwhile, the DC15255 model offers two AMD configurations: the Ryzen 5 7530U (6 cores/12 threads, up to 4.5 GHz) and the Ryzen 7 7730U (8 cores/16 threads, up to 4.5 GHz). Both Ryzen configurations rely on integrated AMD Radeon RX Vega 8 graphics and step up to 16GB DDR4 RAM at 3200 MT/s. Regardless of the processor chosen, all variants pack a fast 512GB Gen4 NVMe SSD for storage.
Connectivity, Battery, and Price in Nepal
Wireless connection options include Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0. Physical ports consist of one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A port, one USB 2.0 port, an HDMI 1.4 port, a full-sized SD card reader, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Powering the system is a 41 Wh battery supported by an included 65W charger.
The Dell 15 (2025) is now available at select retail stores across Nepal. Pricing starts at NPR 81,999 for the AMD Ryzen 5 7530U model, NPR 99,999 for the Ryzen 7 7730U variant, and NPR 108,205 for the Intel i5-1334U configuration.
