IT & Networking Assistant

Executive Search- Merojob is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented entry-level IT & Networking Assistant to join its team. This role provides an excellent opportunity to expand your technical skill set while ensuring the seamless operation of day-to-day office technology and network infrastructure.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing daily IT technical support to staff regarding hardware, software, and operating system issues.
• Installing, setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting desktop computers, laptops, printers, scanners, and peripherals.
• Supporting office local area networks (LAN), Wi-Fi connectivity, routers, switches, and overall internet stability.
• Managing user profiles, corporate email accounts, system permissions, and access controls under supervision.
• Maintaining accurate records of IT assets, hardware inventory, software licenses, and equipment handovers.
• Applying operating system patches, software updates, antivirus protections, and supporting data backup routines.
• Liaising with internet service providers (ISPs) and third-party IT vendors for maintenance and repairs.
• Facilitating technical setups for employee onboarding and managing secure offboarding access removal.
• Documenting network configurations, support logs, and adhering to institutional IT security policies.
