Is My Phone Registered in MDMS Nepal?

Check your IMEI's format, then verify real registration status on NTA

Dial *#06# on the phone to see its real IMEI.

How this works

This tool checks two things: that the IMEI is a validly-formatted 15-digit number (the internationally standard Luhn check-digit test), and whether it matches a device reported stolen or lost by another KinbechShop user. It does not check live MDMS registration status - that's Nepal Telecommunications Authority's own system, and NTA already runs a genuine public checker for it at mdms.nta.gov.np, linked above once your IMEI passes the format check. An unregistered IMEI means the phone's SIM/network service can be blocked under NTA's rules - always check both before paying for a used phone.

A valid format and a clean stolen-device search are not proof a phone is legitimate - always verify MDMS status directly with NTA and meet sellers in a safe, public place.
