Freelance Remittance Net Calculator

What actually lands in NPR from a Payoneer or SWIFT payment

Payoneer's fee (up to 3.5%) is adjustable below since it's a ceiling, not a fixed rate. SWIFT intermediary bank fees genuinely can't be predicted (they depend on which correspondent banks route your transfer) - enter what your bank actually deducted, or leave blank to see the amount before that deduction.
Payoneer publishes this as a ceiling, not a fixed rate - check your own account's actual fee if you know it.

How this works

Individual freelancers exporting IT/software/BPO/digital services get a 5% final withholding tax on that foreign income (up to NPR 40 lakh/year) - your bank deducts it automatically at conversion if you tell them it's export-of-services income, and nothing further needs filing below that threshold. Above NPR 40 lakh/year, ordinary progressive tax slabs apply instead and you must file an annual return. The NRB rate shown is a daily reference rate - your bank's actual conversion rate may include its own margin on top.

The 5% rate and NPR 40 lakh threshold are corroborated across multiple sources but not verified against a primary IRD circular in this build. SWIFT/bank fees vary and cannot be predicted here - verify your bank's actual deduction and current rate before relying on this for real decisions.
