How this works

Nepal charges VAT at the standard 13% rate on (item value + customs duty). Duty itself is set per HS code, not a flat percentage - the Nepal National Single Window's tariff search (linked above) is the real, official way to find your item's rate. This calculator doesn't include courier/shipping cost - no carrier (DHL, FedEx, Nepal Post) publishes a genuine public Nepal rate card, so get a quote directly from them instead of trusting a number here.
