Construction Material Calculator
Estimate cement, bricks, sand and steel for your house
How this works
Ratios (per sq ft of total built-up area, RCC-frame construction with brick infill walls - the dominant modern style in Nepal): bricks 8-10, cement 0.4-0.5 bags, sand 0.8-1.2 cu.ft, aggregate 1.0-1.2 cu.ft. Steel is higher for taller/heavier buildings (3.5-4.75 kg/sqft for up to Ground+1, 4.5-5.5 kg/sqft for Ground+2 and above). These are widely-used civil engineering thumb rules, not a substitute for an engineer's actual bill of quantities. Material prices change constantly by brand, dealer and location, so this tool doesn't estimate cost - browse current listings for building materials on KinbechShop for real local pricing.
Thumb-rule ratios sourced from convergent civil engineering references, not a government standard - actual quantities depend on your specific design, soil condition, and wall thickness.
