Vivo has officially expanded its flagship lineup with the launch of the X500 Pro Max, debuting alongside the standard X500 and X500 Pro models. Built with a strong emphasis on professional mobile photography, high-end performance, and long-lasting endurance, the new smartphone arrives with top-tier hardware across the board.
Premium Design and Display
The Vivo X500 Pro Max features a glass back crafted with a Tidal Cold-Carved finish, accented by a large circular camera module on the rear. Its thickness ranges from 7.95mm to 8.12mm, while its weight comes in at either 225g or 229g depending on the specific variant. To handle tough environments, it boasts robust IP68 and IP69 durability ratings for water and dust resistance. The device comes in four distinct colorways: Earth Echo, Sunny Day, Sunset Glow, and Night Photography.
On the front, the flagship sports a 6.85-inch 2K AMOLED panel with a resolution of 3168 x 1440 pixels. The display utilizes an LTPO 8T panel with an adaptive refresh rate of 1-144Hz and incorporates BOE's Q11 luminescent material for better power efficiency. Brightness levels reach up to 4,400 nits peak at 20% APL and 2,000 nits global peak. Additional screen highlights include 10-bit color depth, HDR support, and full coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut.
Zeiss-Engineered Cameras
Continuing the legacy of the X-series, the camera system is co-engineered with Zeiss. The triple-camera arrangement features a 50MP primary sensor with an f/1.57 aperture and up to 3-degree gimbal-grade OIS, paired with a 50MP ultrawide sensor with an f/2.0 aperture. The star feature is a 200MP Zeiss APO telephoto camera with an f/2.67 aperture, providing 3.5x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom. Both the main and telephoto shooters feature CIPA 7.0-level stabilization. Video recording goes up to 8K at 30 fps, with 4K slow-motion support at 240 fps. Performance, Battery, and Charging
Powering the X500 Pro Max is MediaTek's 2nm Dimensity 9600 Pro processor. It is paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 internal storage. Thermal dissipation is handled by an Ice Plus Fluid VC cooling setup featuring a 32% larger cooling surface compared to the previous generation.
Despite its slim profile, the phone houses a massive 8,000mAh battery. Charging options include 90W wired fast charging and 40W wireless charging. Tech enthusiasts can expect the flagship to arrive in Nepal in the near future.
