Vivo has officially introduced its newest T-series device, the Vivo T5 5G, in India to tackle the competitive upper mid-range market. Effectively a rebranded version of the recently launched iQOO Z11, this device concentrates on delivering strong core hardware, featuring a high refresh rate curved display, a large battery, and reliable cameras.
Sleek Design and Premium Display
Despite packing an immense battery, the Vivo T5 5G retains a slim profile measuring just 7.99mm in thickness. It sports a 3D curved frame and display, alongside a newly styled "Skyline" camera module crafted with a polished aluminum finish. Available in Royal Bronze and Silver Green, the device also delivers robust durability with IP68 and IP69 ratings against water and dust, paired with convenient wet-hand touch support.
On the front, the phone boasts a 6.83-inch 1.5K curved AMOLED display with a fluid 144Hz refresh rate. It achieves a peak brightness of 2,000 nits for seamless outdoor viewing and includes HDR10+ support along with SGS certifications for low blue light, reduced flicker, and sunlight visibility.
Performance and Software Support
Under the hood, the T5 5G relies on the 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo chipset. To sustain performance during heavy tasks and gaming, Vivo has integrated a 3,800mm² vapor chamber alongside a total cooling area of 23,062mm². It offers memory configurations of up to 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.
The smartphone boots OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. Vivo promises extended longevity with three generations of Android OS upgrades and five years of security patches.
Massive Battery and Cameras
One of the standout features of the device is its huge 7,050mAh battery paired with 44W FlashCharge. Vivo claims it can deliver up to 85 hours of audio playback or 34.7 hours of local video streaming, while retaining 80% battery capacity even after 1,600 complete charging cycles.
For photos and videos, the rear setup comprises a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary sensor equipped with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. Front-facing duties are handled by a 32MP selfie camera. Both front and rear cameras support 4K video recording at 30fps.
Expected Price in Nepal and Availability
In India, the Vivo T5 5G starts at INR 34,999 for the base 6GB + 128GB configuration and reaches INR 49,999 for the top 12GB + 256GB variant. Upon its eventual arrival in Nepal, the Vivo T5 5G price is expected to start around NPR 65,999.
