The Examination Section under the Dean's Office of the Institute of Science and Technology (IOST), Tribhuvan University, located in Balkhu, has officially released the results of the entrance test for the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Information Technology (BSc. CSIT) program. The competitive entrance examination for this four-year undergraduate course was successfully conducted on Shrawan 24, 2083.
Exam Execution and Seat Allocation
To ensure an objective and efficient evaluation process, Tribhuvan University conducted the entrance test utilizing Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) technology. According to the Dean's Office, a total quota of 3,105 seats is available across Nepal for eligible candidates aiming to secure admission into the program for the upcoming academic session.
Examination Centers and Academic Framework
To facilitate applicants from across the nation, the university set up a total of 21 examination centers. Out of these, 8 centers were arranged within the Kathmandu Valley, while 13 centers operated outside the valley.
The BSc CSIT program is delivered through a Semester Examination System and adheres to the Grading System across all constituent campuses as well as affiliated colleges under Tribhuvan University.
