Tribhuvan University Postpones Ongoing Exams Including LL.B., B.A., BBS, B.Ed., and B.Sc.

Tribhuvan University (TU) has officially decided to postpone all ongoing and upcoming examinations across various faculties, including LL.B., B.A., B.Ed., BBS, and B.Sc., until further notice. This notice applies to all tests conducted by the Office of the Controller of Examinations located in Balkhu, as well as those managed by individual dean offices across Nepal.

Reason for Suspension

The decision was prompted by the severe flooding and emergency circumstances following a massive flood along the Bhotekoshi River and surrounding lower coastal regions in Rasuwa District on Bhadra 10, 2083 BS. Recognizing the hardship and safety risks facing students and examination personnel due to this natural disaster, the university took immediate steps to halt the exam schedule.

Executive Decisions and Next Steps

The halt on examinations was formalized through decision number 88 of the TU Executive Council meeting convened on Bhadra 12, 2083 BS. An emergency meeting of the Central Examination Operation Committee held on the same day also endorsed the postponement.

The university stated that examinations will resume once the situation across the country is evaluated and normalized. Students are advised that a revised examination schedule for all postponed papers will be published by Bhadra 20, 2083 BS. The updated routine will be released officially via the Central Examination Steering Committee along with respective faculty and institute-level examination management committees.
